Mikkeller Cascade

Mikkeller - Cascade Single Hop - (American Ale); sweet malts, bitter, citrus, lemon, meduim body. A pretty good interpertation of an American Ale.

Struise Mikkeller

Struise Mikkeller (Collaborative Brew) - Elliot Brew - (American Double): Malty, citrus, smokey, earthy, carmel. Reminded me more of a barely wine than and American Double; overall I really enjoyed it. Brewed only once so I most likely will never have another one.

Saison De Lente & Neutral Milk Hotel

The Bruery - Sasison De Lente - (Saison/Farmhouse); The Bruery has not failed me yet; they do a great job with Belgian beers. This one was crispy, slight funkiness, finishing with light hop characters.

Neutral Milk Hotel - On Avery Island;
"So wake up run your lips across your fingers till you find
Some scent of yourself that you can hold up high
To remind yourself that you didn't die
On a day that was so crappy whole and happy you're alive"
Neutral Milk Hotel

Trade Winds & Thai Food

The Bruery - Trade Winds - (Belgian Triple): I was pleasantly surprised by this brew. It had the proper charatristics of a Belgian Triple and a nice basil scent. The Bruery continues to impress me.

Not pictured; homemade yellow curry and pad gra pow gai with saw-toa beans.
