Mikkeller - Cascade Single Hop - (American Ale); sweet malts, bitter, citrus, lemon, meduim body. A pretty good interpertation of an American Ale.

Struise Mikkeller (Collaborative Brew) - Elliot Brew - (American Double): Malty, citrus, smokey, earthy, carmel. Reminded me more of a barely wine than and American Double; overall I really enjoyed it. Brewed only once so I most likely will never have another one.

The Bruery - Sasison De Lente - (Saison/Farmhouse); The Bruery has not failed me yet; they do a great job with Belgian beers. This one was crispy, slight funkiness, finishing with light hop characters.

Green Flash - West Coast IPA - (American IPA)- Typical West Coast hop-bomb style with a great bitterness that coats the tongue with hoppy goodness.

Vlad The Imp Aler & Tar Baby at Belmont Station

Cascade Brewing - Vlad the Imp Aler - (Belgian Strong Pale Ale) A blend of oak barrel-aged 23- and 25-degree Plato sour blonde quadrupel with sour bourbon barrel tripel and sour strong spiced blonde. Belmont Station on Jan 13th had a Cascade Brewing tasting. In addition to the amazing sours Cascade brews and sells in bottles, Belmont Station offered this special release on tap during the tasting.
